Evaluate this portrayal of Lady Macbeth. Note: the staging is intentionally empty, what affect does it have on you?

I don’t think she was evil enough to be Lady Macbeth, but I could tell that she is a good actress. Also, it was really weird when she screamed and ran away; I couldn’t figure out why. An empty stage makes me focus more on the actor because there is nothing else to distract me.

I didn’t really like this portrayal of Lady Macbeth, although the actress was good. She just wasn’t how I imagined Lady Macbeth at all. I agree with Chrissy; I don’t think she was evil enough. I did kind of like the empty stage because it forces me to concentrate on the actress. In this particular scene, it is like you are seeing inside Lady Macbeth’s head, so it is fitting that you only see her on the stage and no set.
